14k stamped/marked yellow gold vintage estate gemstone cat brooch. This cat features a large east to west oval shaped carnelian (cornelian or carneole as some in the jewelry trade refer to it) chalcedony quartz head in a reddish brown color. The head is hinged behind the bowtie and the green chrysoprase gemstone body is below the bowtie. This gorgeous and fantastic cat measures 1 7/8" x 7/8" and weighs 9 grams. Excellent condition (flawless gemstones).
