The Story of Us

This whole thing started because the boss, Mollyboots (our part rat, part scottish terrier), needed surgery. She has a condition known as "rotated patella" (knee caps turned backwards) in both of her back legs. These surgeries are expensive, and we did not want Molly to suffer. She is fine now and on medication, but this jewelry business has developed a life of it's own.

Dianna (CatJones) began by selling the jewelry from her personal collection. She is passionate about jewelry, and through years of collecting had acquired a rather large inventory of gorgeous jewelry pieces. Over the years, she has become quite knowledgeable about fine jewelry, and is always researching and studying to learn more.

Dianna is the force behind this little operation. She purchases all of our jewelry pieces, from estate sales, jewelry auctions, and private collectors. She carefully cleans, inspects, and has tested, every piece we acquire. She deals with customer questions and concerns, and searches for new acquisitions 24/7.

I (William - Catjones Jr.), on the other hand, am the "behind-the-scenes-guy". I package all of our shipments, keep up with the paperwork, clean the house (our office), and make sure our computers stay up and running. I am also the "webmaster" of this site. I didn't have a clue what I was doing when I first began designing and developing this site, but I am learning. It has taken me the better part of 9 months to get to this point, and I am sure it will always be a work in progress.

Dianna and I first met over 20 years ago and have been the best of friends ever since. We knew from the moment we met that we were soul mates. Dianna says she fell in love with me on that day, and I suppose I fell in love with her too, but I was just too wild and stupid to realize it. I joined the Navy in 1983, traveled the world, and finally made my way back to Georgia seven years later. Ten more years passed, as I continued to live the life of a dreamer and nothing more. Finally in 2001, Dianna came to my rescue. We got back together and four months later, on April 21st, 2001, standing on a hilltop overlooking the City of Macon, GA, and surrounded by about 75 of our close friends and relatives, we were married. I do love her so, and we make a great team both in life and in business.

As I stated earlier, we purchase everything from private collectors, estates, and auctions. Some of it is new (or near new), but most pieces do have some history. This does not mean that our jewelry pieces are damaged in any way. Every piece we acquire must pass Dianna's close scrutiny before it is included in our collection.
